My name is Larry Beer and I am a member of the Colorado State Youth Council. We are hosting an inaugural Colorado Virtual Career Fair April 19-22 (M-Th) 4:00PM-6:30PM on Zoom (www.youthcareerfair.org). I was provided your names by Jhon Penn and Georgina Owen, both of whom work for the CO Department of Education.
The most important aspect of this event is that we wish to provide Colorado youth with an opportunity to come together to learn about a variety of careers and to hear personal stories about how professionals started out as youth and journeyed to their current career. I don’t know if you, as Education Directors, would have any interest in this event, but please know that we would deeply appreciate your participation, and the participation of the youth in your communities. Parents, family, and educators are also very welcome to join the event.
