Wildfire season is here. Smoke from distant fires is affecting the Four Corners and the Durango Interagency Dispatch Center lists numerous “smoke checks” on their daily activity reports. Southwest Colorado is in an extreme drought and in the middle of a prolonged heat wave.

KSUT’s Wildfire Resources page includes updated information about wildfires in the Four Corners region, Colorado, and the West. We’ve also included some general information about wildfire.
