“The highest priority of the Southern Ute Tribal Council and the Southern Ute Incident Management Team (IMT) remains the overall health and well-being of the tribal membership and tribal staff. There are many unknown facets of the coronavirus disease, but what we have learned is the disease is imperceptible in nature and highly transmissible. A COVID-19 positive individual can be asymptomatic for a number of days without knowing they are spreading the disease.“
“Another opportunity has been made available for tribal staff, tribal membership and community as attached. Priority has been made for tribal elders and high-risk individuals as well as times established for all attendees to come through the event safely. Please remain safe and practice all COVID-19 safety and health precautions.“
