Our Books and Coffee day sponsor Maria’s Bookshop is donating a year’s worth of great reads to reward KSUT listeners who make a membership pledge.

It’s Spring Fund Drive, Day 4, Books & Coffee Day, sponsored by local institution and all around exemplary business – Maria’s Bookshop.

We’ll be drawing for books and coffee – while zooming in with friends and some great  musical guests from Nashville. Here’s the scoop:

  • Day Prize – A year’s worth of books from Maria’s Bookshop featuring a bundle of books each month that fit the winner’s interests. This includes unreleased advanced reader copies of titles that are rare and only available in the backrooms of bookstores like Maria’s. Reader’s get a coveted first look at books everyone else is waiting for (drawing at 6 PM)
  • Morning Prize – Coffee for a year from Durango Coffee Company, 12 bags of coffee (drawing at 12 noon) 
  • Today’s guests:
  • Morning Edition – 7:30-8 AM: Wade Griffith, Shanta Foundation
  • Morning Blend – 11:15 AM: Tribal Radio’s Sheila Nanaeto joins Stasia for an update on Native Braids and Native Lens
  • Afternoon Blend – 1:30 PM: Chris Aaland hosts a live zoom in-studio with Tim O’Brien and Jan Fabricius
  • Afternoon Blend – 2:30 PM: Chris Aaland hosts a live zoom in-studio with Side Pony, the duo of Caitlin Cannon and Alice Wallace
  • All Things Considered – 4-5 PM: Evan Schertz from Maria’s Bookshop
